Hammersmith and Fulham LBC has pulled out of shared chief executive arrangements with West London neighbour Kensington and Chelsea RLBC, following a review into tri-borough arrangements.
Executive director of transport and technical services, Nigel Pallace has been appointed Hammersmith and Fulham interim chief executive in a move that brings to an end the bi-borough chief executive experiment pioneered by Derek Myers in 2011, and which was followed by his successor Nicholas Holgate.
News of the appointment follows on from publication yesterday of Labour policy guru Lord Adonis' review into the performance of the tri-borough arrangements which involve Westminster City Council.
