Chancellor Philip Hammond has announced an extra £400m for the north of England at the Conservative Party conference.

Chancellor Philip Hammond has announced an extra £400m for the north of England at the Conservative Party conference.

Some £100m will be put aside for new housing, businesses and roads in the north.
