Haringey children's services director to step down

Haringey LBC’s director of children’s services, Libby Blake, to leave ahead of restructure, after two years in the role.

Haringey LBC's director of children's services, Libby Blake, has announced her decision to step down from her role on Friday, only two year's after taking on the role in the aftermath of Government intervention following the ‘Baby P' case.

In a message released to heads of staff today, Ms Blake, who joined from Kensington and Chelsea RLBC where she was acting director in autumn 2011, stated Haringey is currently consulting on changes to the structure of the senior leadership team.
