The Financial Reporting Council's (FRC) new boss of local audit has said ‘nothing is off the table' as he called for ‘radical' solutions to the backlog.

Speaking to The MJ, Neil Harris – a former partner at auditor EY - claimed he was prepared to ‘think outside the box' but said he was unable to provide a date by which the sector would have caught up with the audit backlog.
