Harrow confirms chief role is scrapped

Harrow LBC has formally scrapped the role of chief executive, following the departure of Michael Lockwood in November last year.

 Harrow LBC has formally scrapped the role of chief executive, following the departure of Michael Lockwood in November last year.

A cabinet meeting last night agreed to get rid of the role as of 1 March. A further restructure of the senior management team will see the council move to a structure including a head of paid service, with five corporate directors below.
