Hartlepool Council's acting chief executive to leave authority

Hartlepool Council's acting chief executive is to leave the authority to take up a new postion in the NHS.

Hartlepool Council's acting chief executive Nicola Bailey is leaving the authority to take up a position in the NHS as managing director of North Durham Clinical Commissioning Group.

She has been acting chief executive since last August, following the retirement of previous chief executive, Paul Walker.
