Havering chief to step down

Havering LBC chief executive, Cheryl Coppell has announced she will retire later this year after nine years in the top post.

Havering LBC chief executive, Cheryl Coppell has announced she will retire later this year after nine years in the top post.

She said: ‘I have been very proud to serve local people and very lucky to have worked with some great people in Havering. I now feel the time is right to pass responsibility to my successor to take the Council forward and continue to improve services to local people.'
