New head of city hall's aviation policy unit appointed

Boris Johnson has chosen who will head city hall's aviation policy unit.

London mayor Boris Johnson has appointed Daniel Moylan to spearhead City Hall's new aviation policy unit, which will make the case for a new airport in the Thames estuary.

Mr Moylan has already acted as an aviation adviser to Mr Johnson, and was until recently the chair of the London Legacy Development Corporation.
