and resilient senior officers who understand the changing shape of public services.
We are looking for an outstanding individual with an ability to lead transformation and
the redesign of how local people receive Council services, with a track record in leading
complex projects, an appetite for innovation and the tenacity to see key programmes
through to delivery.

You may have a background in the public, private or voluntary sector. What is more important
is your commitment to people powered services, learning from excellence in Customer
Services, and helping Calderdale Council define next practice in local government.
You will be responsible for a wide range of Customer Services, including our Contact
Centre and Customer First, Revenues and Benefits, Registrars, Licensing, Corporate
Communications and the web. You will lead our Sports and Leisure Services, shaping
a sporting legacy from the Tour De France Grand Depart, and play a key role in corporate
change programmes relating to people, digital and asset based services. Strong project
management skills will be required with a proven track record of mobilising crossfunctional
support and managing effective utilisation of all resources available within a
service.
