Head of ICT at Solihull MBC becomes new president of Socitm

Steve Halliday, head of ICT at Solihull MBC, is the new president of the local government and public sector IT managers society Socitm and says that his focus in the coming year will be on IT leadership, digital delivery and the co-production of local public services.

Steve Halliday, head of ICT at Solihull MBC, is the new president of the local government and public sector IT managers society Socitm and says that his focus in the coming year will be on IT leadership, digital delivery and the co-production of local public services.

Mr Halliday, who became president on 24 April, brings experience from both the private and public sectors. He is currently also a member of the Local Government CIO Council, the Local Government Delivery Council and the Government Digital Service Identity Assurance Programme Board.
