The newly formed Staffordshire Health and Wellbeing Board will oversee police-linked community safety issues in the county, it has been revealed.

Staffordshire chief constable, Mike Cunningham, has been named as a member of the board. Health and wellbeing boards were designed to promote closer working between health, public health and social-care partners – but Staffordshire's leaders also want local policing to inform that process.
