Health minister denies Better Care Fund split

Health minister Dan Poulter insisted his department was fully behind the BCF as he maintained the April 2015 launch was on track.

Health minister Dan Poulter insisted his department was fully behind the Better Care Fund (BCF) as he maintained the April 2015 launch was on track.

In an interview with The MJ at last week's Local Government Association (LGA) conference, Dr Poulter said he ‘did not recognise' rumours of a Department of Health split over health and social care integration.
