A new service has been set up by Central Bedfordshire Council, local housing association Aragon and the NHS to reduce bed-blocking in hospitals.

The Evergreen service will provide 24-hour care and support to older people who are well enough to leave hospital, but not yet able to look after themselves alone at home.
