Health reforms 'not needed' says Healey

Shadow health secretary, John Healey, branded the Government’s plans to reform the NHS as ‘unwise and unnecessary'.

Shadow health secretary, John Healey, branded the Government's plans to reform the NHS as ‘unwise and unnecessary' at last week's LGA conference.

Speaking at a fringe event, the former local government minister said the proposals in the Health and Social Care Bill were still the ‘wrong reforms at the wrong time for the NHS'.
