Health reforms 'not needed' says Healey

Shadow health secretary, John Healey, branded the Government's plans to reform the NHS as ‘unwise and unnecessary' at last week's LGA conference.

Speaking at a fringe event, the former local government minister said the proposals in the Health and Social Care Bill were still the ‘wrong reforms at the wrong time for the NHS'.
