Health survey blow to councils

A new survey has revealed less than half of councillors in London believe public health provisions will improve.

Less than half of councillors in London believe public health provision will improve as a result of local authorities assuming responsibility for services, a new survey has revealed.

A study by the London Communications Agency (LCA) has revealed that just 45% of councillors believe public health services will improve as a result of local authorities taking on responsibility for services such as anti-obesity campaigns since April.
