The Joseph Rowntree Foundation has published three reports on the effects of migration on the UK.
The studies called on the Government and councils to ensure that new migrants have access to all the practical information and help they need, such as English classes.
‘These three reports suggest that the Government should value migrants as more than simply an economic resource, and must continue to place importance on ensuring their integration into wider British society, even when their stay is expected only to be temporary,' said foundation director, Julia Unwin.
