Helping cohesion to happen

There may be no single strategy for achieving community cohesion. It is still very much work in progress - but the Government can help create more positive attitudes towards diversity, says Mike Hardy.

Cohesion doesn't just happen….You have to work at it continuously at both local and national levels. Communities minister Andrew Stunell MP is right to say (in The MJ, September 22) that we 'are still enduring problems of cohesion and integration in communities up and down the land.'
