An arms-length company owned by Cornwall Council has announced it is in talks with Nottinghamshire CC to form a new partnership to run its highway services next year.

CORMAC Solutions, which already provides highways services for Cornwall Council and other local authorities, said it is looking to create a new jointly-owned company to deliver Nottinghamshire CC's highway services from October 2015.
