Hogging the spotlight

It’s been a tough week for Ed Sheeran who is facing a lawsuit over claims he copied someone else’s song when he wrote hit Photograph.

It's been a tough week for Ed Sheeran who is facing a lawsuit over claims he copied someone else's song when he wrote hit Photograph.

But whatever happens in the copyright courts, the singer-songwriter can at least bask in the glory of knowing he has taken centre stage at Suffolk CC's new summer art exhibition, entitled Pigs Gone Wild.

The art trail will involve 40 pig sculptures being scattered across Ipswich, including one called Ed Sheer-ham who bears an ‘unspammy' resemblance to the pop star. See what they did there?

‘We hope Ed Sheer-ham will create a real buzz around Pigs Gone Wild and will unite our town in its biggest ever mass participation art event, encouraging people and families to get active and to explore all areas of Ipswich,' said Suffolk CC's cabinet member for the town, Cllr Christopher Hudson.

Mr Sheeran has even given the swine his blessing and said he hoped it will be a ‘huge hit'.

‘I think he looks awesome,' added the singer.

All of which just goes to prove that Ed Sheeran doesn't just walk the walk, he talks the pork too.
