South Shropshire DC  has linked up with a local developer to provide more affordable homes.

The council has formed a joint not-for-profit venture, Shropshire Local Homes, with South Shropshire housing association and local firm Bennett Homes to provide some of the dwellings. Affordable housing is the number one priority of the council and it expects to see a further 176 new homes built in the district by the end of the year. They will be sold or rented at locally affordable rates.
