Homes for Ukraine – the Wealden response

Wealden DC is committed to providing the highest level of support it can to refugees from Ukraine, despite the housing crisis, says Gemma Forshaw.

While the people of Ukraine celebrated their Independence Day last month, the UK Government was calling for more people to come forward to help house Ukrainians.

More than 115,000 Ukrainians have been given safety in the UK so far through both the family and sponsorship schemes.
