Plans by Walsall MBC to develop a 37-acre site and create 4,000 jobs have been thrown into doubt after negotiations with a potential developer fell through.

The local authority had been talking to Parkhill Estates about the former James Bridge Copper Works site at Darlaston, which has become known as the Phoenix 10 project.
