Housing associations must 'reinvest in Right to Buy'

An emergency motion raised at a full council meeting by the chair of Islington's housing scrutiny committee, Cllr Michael O'Sullivan, called for local housing associations to ringfence funds raised following the extension of the scheme to new tenants. The motion was given unanimous backing by members of the Labour-controlled authority.
