Slough BC has announced plans to launch a group of housing companies in a bid to meet the growing demand for rented accommodation in the borough.

Slough BC has announced plans to launch a group of housing companies in a bid to meet the growing demand for rented accommodation in the borough.

The council's cabinet met on 5 September to discuss creating two separate companies – Herschel Homes and Slough Homes – which will both be wholly-owned by the local authority.
