A new housing strategy for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council

At the heart of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council's vision for the city-region is a comprehensive housing strategy focused on providing more homes and more accessible housing for local communities, says Graham Farrant

The creation of  Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP) enables us to create an iconic coastal economy in a 21st Century digital city-region by the sea. Local government reorganisation was recognised by members of the three preceding councils as a strategic response to the ongoing financial constraints, but it gives us much more than that.

At the heart of our new vision for the city-region has to be a comprehensive housing strategy focused on providing more homes and more accessible housing for local communities, facilitating the growth that we anticipate.
