The Government has announced a shortlist of four cities that could become home to the new HS2 rail college.

The MJ reported last month (16 May) how councils were going head-to-head with rival bids to host the proposed college, but the Government has now confirmed either Derby, Doncaster, Birmingham or Manchester will get the new facility.
