HTMA name new executive director

The Highways Term Maintenance Association have announced who their next executive director will be.

The Highways Term Maintenance Association (HTMA) have appointed a new executive director to orchestrate its growing influence and rising position within the industry.

Geoff Allister, currently chief executive of Northern Ireland's Road Service, will take over from David Hutchinson at the beginning of November. Previous positions Mr Allister has held include director and board member of Roads Service; member of the UK Chief Engineers' Committee and UK Roads Liaison Group; president of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation; and president of CSS (now ADEPT).
