The hunt for the next chief executive of crisis-hit Rotherham MBC has been put on hold awaiting the appointment of commissioners following last week's damning report into its children's services.

The council had begun the search for a chief executive to replace Martin Kimber who resigned last year while ex-Bristol City Council chief executive Jan Ormondroyd was appointed as Rotherham's interim chief until May.
