IER: 800,000 drop off electoral register

The Labour Party has claimed around 800,000 people have dropped off the electoral register after the Government switched to individual electoral registration (IER).

The Labour Party has claimed around 800,000 people have dropped off the electoral register after the Government switched to individual electoral registration (IER).

Figures revealed by the shadow minister for electoral registration, Gloria De Piero, showed 1.8% of voters have left the register since the move to IER.
