Revaluing homes in Scotland is now ‘even more important', a finance expert has suggested as local authorities hike council tax by up to 10%. 

North Lanarkshire and the Scottish Borders are among the councils voting for a 10% rise from April, with Fife agreeing a 8.2% rise, Edinburgh 8% and Glasgow 7.5%.
