Industry support has been given to concerns raised by the public accounts committee (PAC) about NHS restructuring and the delivery of efficiency savings.

The PAC claimed the estimate for setting up GP consortia could be as much as £3bn, but the Department of Health (DoH) has already stated it would cost only £1.4bn.
