Socio-economic inequalities are wiping an average of 1.5 years off the lives of people in the most disadvantaged communities, a new think-tank report has warned.

The research by the Centre for Progressive Policy (CPP) found inequalities in education, employment, income, risk of crime and housing continued to hit life expectancy across England.
