A major independent inquiry to understand and identify practical ways to make local economies across the UK more economically inclusive and prosperous has been launched.

The RSA's inclusive growth commission, which aims to publish final recommendations before the mayoral elections in 2017, will investigate how local economies can drive growth, productivity and prosperity through greater economic inclusivity.
