NHS England and the Local Government Association (LGA) have named the first eight areas to have integrated personal health and social care budgets.

Under the first wave of the Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) programme, around 10,000 people with complex needs will take control of their own health and social care budgets from April onwards.
