Inter-county waste deal gets four-year extension

An inter-county deal, which sees some of Norfolk’s waste dealt with at Suffolk CC’s new energy-from-waste (EFW) plant has been extended for a further four years.

An inter-county deal, which sees some of Norfolk's waste dealt with at Suffolk CC's new energy-from-waste (EFW) plant has been extended for a further four years.

The current agreement between the two county councils was due to end in 2016, but will now run until 2020.
