A leading think-tank has called for councils to be given money from citizenship fees to help promote community cohesion.

In a report published on 20 October, the IPPR called on the Government to create a Settlement Support Fund, partly funded by citizenship fees and also a levy on visa fees, to help areas facing the greatest pressure from immigration.
