Unilever's commissioned statue of Dame Kelly Homes ends up being a 'let down'.

Just months after poor Birmingham City Council was lambasted for spending £15,000 on a wicker Usain Bolt in which his famous 'lightning Bolt' pose points the wrong way, it seems that Tonbridge and Malling BC has also fallen foul of the statue Stasi.

Tapping into Olympics fever, Unilever, the firm behind Sure deodorants (they 'won't let you down') has commissioned a statue of athletics legend Dame Kelly Holmes in her birthplace village of Pembury.
