Jobs warning after shared services announcement

A trade union has expressed fears that plans to set up shared staff arrangements across two south west London boroughs could result in a further round of ‘massive job losses’.

A trade union has expressed fears that plans to set up shared staff arrangements across two south west London boroughs could result in a further round of ‘massive job losses'.

Concern from the GMB follows the announcement Wandsworth LBC and Richmond upon Thames RLBC have agreed to run a single staffing structure from March 2017, a cost-cutting move that could save up to £10m.
