A new joint approach to handling public complaints has been released by watchdogs today – aimed at preventing another Mid Staffordshire Trust-style safety scandal.

Published by the Local Government Ombudsman, the Parliamentary and Health Ombudsman and Healthwatch England, the guide allows a raft of health and social care providers to measure people's experiences of complaints to help drive improvements.
