Joint borough audit operations' savings could add up to £100k

Islington and Camden LBCs have decided to merge their internal audit teams over the next six months, in an efficiency and savings move forecast to save an initial £100,000.

Michael Bradley, head of internal audit at Camden, will become the first joint head of internal audit for both councils. The head of internal audit at Islington had previously been vacant.
