Joint role set for Herts and PCC

Hertfordshire CC and the county's newly-elected police and crime commissioner (PCC) have joined forces for a shared appointment.

The local authority's chief fire officer and director of community protection, Roy Wilsher, is set to become the chief executive of the PCC's office, while also retaining his county council role.
