Joint five-year strategy to tackle homelessness

Strategy unveiled by nine councils and 25 public and private sector partners to combat homelessness across Lincolnshire.

A group of nine councils, together with 25 public and private sector partners, have unveiled a five-year strategy to combat homelessness across Lincolnshire and the East Midlands.

The Lincolnshire Homelessness Strategy Group – which is used as a ‘best practice model' across the East Midlands by the DCLG – has set out a list of future priorities, including developing long-term alternatives to bed and breakfast emergency accommodation for young people.
