Private sector ‘experts' could be drafted into the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) as the Government looks to cut costs across all departments. 

Chief secretary to the Treasury, Darren Jones, said the Government was creating ‘challenge panels' of ‘external experts' from the private sector across Whitehall to bring a ‘fresh perspective on whether every penny spent is necessary or not'.
