Lynda McMullan has been appointed to the leadership team of the National Audit Office.

She will join the organisation as assistant auditor general in October and will be responsible for overseeing the NAO's work on local government, education and health. Ms McMullan has been director of finance at Kent CC for five years and has over 20 years experience of local government.
