Five district councils in Kent are to discuss merging into a single authority this month.

Five district councils in Kent are to discuss merging into a single authority this month.

Members of Ashford, Canterbury, Dover, Shepway and Thanet councils will meet separately to discuss taking preliminary discussions further and developing a business case for a possible merger.
