Kent CC is threatening to launch legal action against the home secretary as it struggles with rising numbers of unaccompanied child migrants.

Kent CC is threatening to launch legal action against the home secretary as it struggles with rising numbers of unaccompanied child migrants.

The council claims the service is at breaking point, with 403 unaccompanied asylum-seeking children (UASC) currently in its care. It has urged home secretary Priti Patel to direct other local authorities to take their share of the children.
