A number of Labour-led London local authorities are understood to be exploring legal action against government plans to force the sale of council housing.

The MJ has been told that Islington, Haringey and Hackney LBCs, as well as opposition councillors at Westminster City Council, are looking at clubbing together to prepare a legal case.
