Lambeth LBC plans to bring its housing company back in-house following a review by independent peer and former civil servant Lord Kerslake.

Lambeth LBC plans to bring its housing company back in-house following a review by independent peer and former civil servant Lord Kerslake.

The review called for a complete overhaul of the London borough's housing finance and governance, including taking asset management out of the finance team to put them in the growth directorate.  The report, commissioned by the council, claimed residents had ‘not been treated well by the council in the past'.
