It's the time of year for submitting bids for national awards, which is a moment for all of us to think about some of the fantastic things we've achieved together over the past year across the sector.

The awards submissions have also given me pause for reflection on the rapid and wide-ranging improvement journey we've been on in Northumberland since 2022.
