Lansley defends reforms giving doctors more say

Health secretary, Andrew Lansley, defended the Government’s controversial plans to reform the NHS last week at a conference organised by the King’s Fund think-tank.

Health secretary, Andrew Lansley, defended the Government's controversial plans to reform the NHS last week at a conference organised by the King's Fund think-tank.

Mr Lansley said the Health and Social Care Bill would give doctors more power and allow more cohesion between the NHS and local authorities.
